God is at work

Field 1 - Cultivate

Field 2 - Plant

The first parable Jesus taught was how to expand the Kingdom of God in Matthew 13:3-9

"A farmer went out to sow his seed.  As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path, and the birds came and ate it up.  Some fell on rocky places, where it did not have much soil.  It sprang up quickly, because the soil was shallow.  But when the sun came up, the plants were scorched, and they withered because they had no roots.  Other seeds fell among thorns, which grew up and choked the plants.  Still other seed fell on good soil, where it produced a crop - a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown, Whoever has ears, let them hear."

Below is a list of people and places where new seeds are being planted:

  • Wixom, MI - Robert Price

  • Taylor, MI

  • Bristol, IN - Don Snell

  • Indianapolis, IN - Len Winerowski

  • Bridgeport OH (Cabelas)

  • Salesville, OH - Tiffany Schmidt

  • Summerfield, FL - Jim Lowery

"Pray that the Word of the Lord will go out over all the land and prove its power just as it did with you." 2 Thessalonians 3:1

"And the good news about the Kingdom will be preached throughout the whole world, so that all nations will hear it." Matthew 24:14

Field 3 - Grow

Field 4 - Harvest

St. Clair Outpost

This outpost was started with prayer walking during September of 2019 at Claire Wood apartments. Food drives and great blessings from God ensued. The Lord led the workers to multiple other nearby apartment communities. What started as a couple people prayer walking has turned into two teams of people ministering to multiple places within St. Clair. Algonac Outpost

outpost

This outpost was started with two women meeting on a monthly basis to pray for the Algonac areas in 2018. A third person joined them in April 2019 as they started prayer walking in different neighborhoods to discern God’s direction in the harvest field. September 2019 brought their first pop-up pantry at two apartment complexes. Now there are eight regular workers and 6 to 8 others join them from time-to-time. Lapeer/Beaverton Outpost
cross.png

This outpost was started on May 12, 2020 when the church was notified their June 2020 trip to the Dominican Republic to build a house was cancelled. This same group of people got together praying for God to provide another opportunity to serve on a mission. The dam broke in Middleton, Michigan. On May 19th, the same praying group of people went and helped in Beaverton. On the ride home is where they realized there was a lot of work to be done. So for 26 weeks they lived on mission, coming alongside these people. “God had made a clear change on where they were to go.” They cared for these people as they worked side by side. They shared life together; testimonies and God’s words.  To learn more or get involved with this outpost, contact Justin Grochowski at (616) 466.9301.

Walled Lake Outpost

This outpost was started in 2023 - Walled Lake Community Church has been called into being by God and exists for His glory. Our church is composed of forgiven individuals who, through Christ, have become the people of the triune God. The Creator God is our Father, Jesus Christ is our Lord and Head of the Church, and the Holy Spirit is our life and power.  To learn more or get involved with this outpost, contact Robert Price at (248) 870.8558

Richmond Outpost

This outpost was started on a hot summer day in 2020 when Tommy, a member of the community, gave cookies to Crossroads volunteers who were ministering to the surrounding community by passing out food. November came and the group of 3 to 6 regular volunteers put on a Thanksgiving dinner for the community. Shortly after, they started meeting weekly for Bible study, fellowship, prayer, and discipleship at Tommy's house. Now, they meet every Sunday at the Saben's home for their church service and they are their own incorporated church: the Community Church of Richmond. To learn more or get involved with this outpost, contact Steven Sabens at (907) 978-1134.

Marine City Outpost

marine city.jpg

This outpost was started when one woman was on a mission trip to Guatemala, and through prayer, God revealed to her that she could do mission in her own backyard. She reached out to the local Shangri-La trailer park in Marine City, gathering volunteers to pass out food and form discipling relationships. Soon, they had their own weekly Bible study, and God has gradually developed them into a church that meets every other week for service in the Shangri-La Clubhouse. To learn more or get involved with this outpost, contact Brendan Pittiglio at (810) 278-4948.
