Our Outpost strategy...

Our Outposts

An outpost is a serving partnership with our community that develops churches where everyday life happens.

Make Disciples

Mobilize Mission

Multiply Churches

God is at work.

"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” - Acts 1:8

Richmond Outpost

This outpost was started on a hot summer day in 2020 when Tommy gave cookies to Crossroads volunteers who were ministering to the surrounding community by passing out food. November came and the group of three to six regular volunteers put on a Thanksgiving dinner for the community. Shortly after, they started meeting weekly for Bible study, fellowship, prayer, and discipleship at Tommy's house. Now, they meet every Sunday in their own rented building for their church service and they are their incorporated church: the Community of Church Richmond. To learn more or get involved with this outpost, contact Steven Sabens at (907) 978-1134.

Marine City Outpost

This outpost was started when one woman was on a mission trip to Guatemala, and through prayer, God revealed to her that she could do mission in her own backyard. She reached out to the local Shangri-La trailer park in Marine City, gathering volunteers to pass out food and form discipling relationships. Soon, they had their own weekly Bible study, and God has gradually developed them into a church that meets every other week for service in the Shangri-La Clubhouse. To learn more or get involved with this outpost, contact Brendan Pittiglio at (810) 278-4948.

After this the Lord appointed seventy-two others and sent them two by two ahead of him to every town and place where he was about to go. He told them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field." -Luke 10:1-3

St. Clair Outpost

This outpost was started with prayer walking during September of 2019 at Claire Wood apartments. Food drives and great blessings from God ensued. The Lord led the workers to multiple other nearby apartment communities. What started as a couple people prayer walking has turned into two teams of people ministering to multiple places within St. Clair. Port Huron Outpost

Matthew and Dawn Clements married in February 2020. Traveling through their neighborhood, at the start of their lives together, they felt the pull of God's Spirit wanting to pour out His presence. After prayer, they found out about Field USA and its outposts, and they soon partnered up to get things rolling. Now, they have a biweekly worship night in the Clements' home and a weekly Sunday night service at the Huron House rehabilitation center. To learn more or get involved with this outpost, contact Matthew Clements at (443) 254-7655.
